Note: You will need to provide any additional meals or snacks on Tuesday. Please plan accordingly.

Location: Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp, Lakeside, MT


The Cabins: 

"Rustic Glam" Housing. These cabins are typically used for summer camp, so you will need to bring your own bedding. Each cabin includes single bunk beds though the number per room varies, typically 3-4 per room. There are also a very limited number of rooms with double beds.  Families will be placed together.  Married couples without children will likely be sharing rooms with other married couples.    



RV and Camping: 

If you would prefer your own space or simply wish to use your RV or tent, there are 4 RV sites with electric hook-ups available and a place to pitch your tent.  Prices remain the same as above.  



Hiking Challenge Information 

Hiking Level 1: Hidden Lake Overlook Trail. 

2.7 Miles. 575' elevation gain. Out and back. Highlights of this trail include driving the iconic Going to the Sun road to the top of Logan Pass. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete.  It's a great hike for beginners, hikers of all ages, and those who love to enjoy the little details. 

Hiking Level 2: Hidden Lake Trail. 

5.22 Miles. 1,460' feet elevation gain. Out and back. This is considered one of the best day hikes in Glacier National Park, and is a great way to experience a pristine alpine lake and incredible mountain views. It's all of the Level 1 hike, plus more! Highlights of this trail include driving along the iconic Going to the Sun Road to the top of Logan Pass. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, and it takes an average of 3 hours to complete.   

Hiking Level 3: Highline Trail.

11.6 Miles. 3,225' elevation gain. Point-to-point. This hike starts at the Logan Pass Visitor Center and takes you along the breathtaking scenery of the Highline Trail, up to the Grinnell Glacier overlook, then over to the Granite Park Chalet, and finally out the Loop Trail. Should take between 6-8 hours. This is a hike for those who have trained and put in effort to prepare. 



Hiking Level 4: Grinnell Lake Hike. 

19.6 Miles. 4,685' elevation gain. Out and back This is a fantastic advanced hike you will not want to miss. Start at the Jackson Glacier Overlook, and hike up to Grinnell Lake on this beautiful hike. Piegan Pass will provide amazing views as you traverse along the Continental Divide Trail. Estimated time to complete: 10-12 hours.  


Hiking Level 5: PIegan Pass to the Loop Trailhead

28.2 Miles. 7,050' elevation gain. Point-to-point. This ultimate challenge starts at the Jackson Glacier Overlook, heads over Piegan Pass, along the Continental Divide Trail to Grinnell Lake, then to Lake Josephine. After that, you will head up and over Swiftcurrent Pass to the Granite Park Chalet. Head onto the Highline trail to appreciate the Grinnell Glacier Overlook, and then back to the Granite Park Chalet and out at the Loop Trailhead.

Pre-Main Event Mountain Biking Challenge: This year the mountain biking challenge will take place as an optional activity on Sunday, before the main event starts. You will need to purchase your own ticket. 

Location: Legacy Bike Park 2376Legacy Park Way, Lakeside, MT 59922.  

Cost: $59 with uphill shuttle and $25 for pedal pass only

Cancelation Policy: You may cancel your registration by notifying us at [email protected] and get a full refund less the convenience fee through May 31.  You may receive a 50% refund less the convenience fee from June 1 through July 31. After July 31, no further refunds will be issued. No transferring or selling of registrations will be allowed.

Jennifer Jill Schwirzer

Jennifer Jill Schwirzer, Ed D, LPC, is an author, speaker, media presence, professional counselor, musician, wife, mother, lover of Jesus, and a friend to many. “Dr. Jen” has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, and a Doctoral degree in Community Counseling from Liberty University. She has spoken all over the world, written 16 books, and hosted two TV programs. She loves to communicate about the fascinating intersection between theology and psychology, and does so whenever, and however, she gets a chance.

I, the undersigned, understand, acknowledge and agree that: (1) The risk of injury and/or death from the activities involved in the F5 Challenge hiking activities in Montana and related events is significant, including, but not limited to, (i) sprains, strains; (ii) dehydration, altitude sickness, any/all medical issues; (iii) fractures and broken bones; (iv) heat and cold related injuries; (v) over-use syndrome; (vi) animal bites, tick bites, snake bites, scorpion bites, and stings; (vii) contact poisonous plants; (viii) accidents involving climbing, hiking, running, or other obstacles; (ix) injury resulting from falls, contact with other participants, weather, traffic and conditions of the road & course; (x) potential for permanent paralysis and/or death; (xi) dismemberment; and (xii) getting lost. (2) I FREELY ASSUME AND KNOWINGLY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERS AND ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY PARTICIPATION. (3) I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and/or next of kin, forever and knowingly WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE F5 Challenge, or TAP Ministries, their officers, directors, representatives, volunteers, officials, agents and/or employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and/or assigns, owners and lessors of the premises used to conduct the event (collectively, “Releasees”) WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, and/or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE. I FURTHER AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD HARMLESS RELEASEES FROM ANY AND ALL LOSS, LIABILITY, CLAIM, COST OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES. (4) I verify that I am free from all illnesses, injuries and defects and that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in all activities associated with the event. I understand that fitness training and hiking is needed for the hiking challenges at the Glacier F5 Main event. My participation in the event and associated activities is entirely voluntary. (5) I consent to the administration of first aid and/or other medical treatment in the event of injury or illness and hereby release and indemnify Releasees from any and all liability or claims resulting and/or arising from any such treatment. (6) I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the above parties to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, website images, recordings or any other record of this event in perpetuity and I understand that I shall not be entitled to any compensation therefore. (7) I understand that for any unforeseen reason or accident, I cannot make it out of Glacier National Park or the surrounding area and need to be air lifted out, I will be liable for all costs associated for the emergency medical evacuation via helicopter and for all medical expenses incurred. I agree I am fully responsible for obtaining any medical and/or trip insurance.
    I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY CHECKING THE AGREEMENT BOX IT, ELECTRONICALLY SIGNING IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.”
